Election Tracker is a new open source applicaition currently maintained by Knight Rider Consulting.
Originally developed for the Eau Claire Office of Wisconsin Public Radio in cooperation with the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, Election Tracker is a windows desktop application that tracks the results of various election contests as the results are coming in from various counties.
The initial design and development phase was completed by students at UWEC, once the semester ended, Knight Rider Consulting volunteered to complete the development and oversee future enhancements.
Election Tracker was released as an open source application for several reasons, one of which is to provide C Sharp developers with an example of a Windows desktop application that makes heavy use of the Spring Framework and nHibernate.
You can download the installation and / or source code from the project site located at electiontracker.googlecode.com.
